DESCRIPTION:The Reclaim Hosting team will be running a virtual workshop about all things Domain of One’s Own and WordPress Multisite! We’re looking to gather a group of administrators from various schools to come together (virtually) for a training and discussion around these two platforms. The workshop would provide both applied training and concrete examples of both administering and teaching with Domain of One’s Own and WordPress Multisite\, along with one-on-one time with Reclaim Hosting\, as well as other present institutions. \nThe workshop is broken up into two distinct days. SUMMARY:October Community Chat: Approaching Archiving in WPMS & DoOO
DESCRIPTION:Every month we host a video call on various topics that we call our Community Chats! Anyone is welcome\, and the format is flexible and informal. \n\nThis month\, our Community Chat will focus on archiving accounts and sites on WordPress Multisite and Domain of One’s Own. We will share our recommendations on how to archive accounts and sites and discuss strategies to make the process as smooth as possible. Additionally\, we will demonstrate the Site Archiving Toolkit\, a tool in Reclaim Cloud that simplifies converting sites to static HTML and webrecorder archives.
