Yes\, we are a small commercial company\, but we bring a lot of expertise of working in Higher Ed to the table and we walk the walk of open education. \nIn this presentation we’ll share practical approaches inspired by communities like Equity Unbound and the ALT Open Education Special Interest Group  to connect with educators and edtechs from across the US and internationally sharing practice via community chats\, micro courses\, live streams and radio shows. SUMMARY:Admin Workshop: DoOO & WPMS 101
DESCRIPTION:The Reclaim Hosting team will be running a virtual workshop about all things Domain of One’s Own and WordPress Multisite! We’re looking to gather a group of administrators from various schools to come together (virtually) for a training and discussion around these two platforms. The workshop would provide both applied training and concrete examples of both administering and teaching with Domain of One’s Own and WordPress Multisite\, along with one-on-one time with Reclaim Hosting\, as well as other present institutions. \nThe workshop is broken up into two distinct days. Day 1 will be dedicated to getting you comfortable administering and troubleshooting Domain of One’s Own\, and Day 2 will focus on WordPress Multisite. Both days will start out at 12pm ET and end by 5pm ET. You can sign up for either or both days\, whatever piques your interest! \nOn Day 1\, which is focused around Domain of One’s Own\, you can expect to learn about: \n\nThe systems that power DoOO and how they work together\nTools used to manage users and accounts in DoOO\nTroubleshooting broken sites and what to do when things aren’t working\nBuilding engagement and growing your DoOO initiative sustainably\n\nOn Day 2\, the WordPress Multisite focused day\, you can expect to learn about: \n\nThe basics of administering WordPress Multisite\nCustomizing your multisite with themes and plugins\nBuilding your Multisite out to best support your goals\nWorkflows that will save you time and effort\n\nWorkshop Cost\nYou can register for a single day of the workshop for $195 per person\, or both days at $350 per person.
