Accessibility in Action: Editoria11y plug-in and live review – Community ProfDev Session

Building on the success of our regular admin workshops for Domain of One’s Own and WordPress Multisite, we’re excited to bring you a new series of monthly session offering free professional development for everyone in our user community.
This month’s topic(s): Accessibility in Action: Editoria11y plug-in and live review
Speakers: Alexis Block and Taylor Jadin
Accessibility isn’t just a legal requirement. It’s also a best practice for any website. Accessibility is deeply intertwined with user experience and even with search engine optimization (SEO). By improving accessibility on your website, you improve user experience overall, making your pages more navigable and digestible. In this session we share tools and tips from our popular Accessibility Tune-Up series. We’ll also explore how you can use the Editoria11y plugin to help students, staff, and faculty get just in time suggestions on creating accessible content on WordPress using your platforms.

Our ProfDev Sessions are free to attend and designed for students, educators and admins using our services, including Domain of One’s Own, Managed Hosting, Reclaim Cloud and Shared Hosting, too.
We cover topics that require no specific prior technical knowledge and we encourage new users and new admins to come along and learn together.
These monthly sessions are by our expert team and focus on topics that we get asked most frequently. The format of the sessions is flexible and open, encouraging knowledge sharing, asking questions and discussion.
